Moonlight Magic at Smith-Gilbert Gardens
A family-friendly evening in the Gardens on Tuesday, July 31 from 6:30-9:30 pm under a full moon promises to be the highlight of your summer.
Bring your picnic blanket, supper basket, kids in pajamas and join us for a special Twilight Tuesday filled with fun. As the sun goes down you’ll watch birds at their most active time of day. Then, check out the bats as they come out, and have a fire-fly catching contest. When the moon rises, you’ll take a tour of the Gardens in the moonlight.
Come see the Gardens in an entirely different light; the moon and the stars are expecting you. All activities are free with the special admission fee of $5 per person ages 6 years and up. Members are free.
Except on holidays, the Gardens are open: Tues 9am to 8pm, Wed-Sat 9am to 4pm, Sun 11am to 4pm. Closed Mondays. Admission $7/adults, $6/seniors and active military, $5 ages 6-12, 5 and under are free. The Gardens are located at 2382 Pine Mountain Road, Kennesaw, GA 30152, 770-919-0248.
